Bellambi is a suburb of Wollongong in the Illawarra region with a population of around 4,000. It has a train station, opened back in 1889 and numerous bus stops making it easily accessible. You’ll find Bellambi on the north side of Corrimal, and east of Russell Vale.
There is a fantastic beach - great for surfing and a newly refreshed sea pool with a kids paddling pool next to it. Above the sea pool there is a kids playground with a range of equipment to suit all ages. It is located on the blue mile walking track that leads all the way into Wollongong just near Cafe Olive which is a great spot for a refreshing drink or fuel stop.
To the east of Bellambi there is a creek and further south is Bellambi Harbour (previously known as Port Bellambi) where a boat ramp is located.
